Press Release on the American Administration’s Decision to Move the US Embassy to Jerusalem
2017/12/10

In the Name of God, the Beneficent, the Merciful

All praise is to God, the Lord of the worlds; and may God send his blessings on our master Mohammed and his holy progeny.

We condemn the decision of the American administration to move the US Embassy to the occupied city of Jerusalem, as it is an affront to the Palestinian people and disregard for the feelings of Muslims.

We want to point out that this stance is a natural consequence of the distancing of the Muslims from the teachings of their true religion, their neglect of their shared matters and interests, their fighting amongst themselves, and the spread of the epidemic of extremism and terrorism which has targeted them, and destroyed their societies and their towns, and has distorted the name of their religion. God Almighty has said: “And obey God, and obey the Messenger, and do not into disputes, lest you lose heart and your power departs.”

Today, all are invited – especially those fostering and supporting terrorism – to seriously revise their previous stances, and to open a new page, to unify the positions of the Islamic nations and to build firm foundations in establishing good relations with other nations, which reflects the pliability of their religion and its genuine values.

We seek support and help from only Him, and He is the guardian of the believers

Day Questions

Can we supplicate to the Messenger of Allah, the Ahlulbait and the Imams (peace be upon them all)?

The Dua (supplication) is a “request”, and since Almighty Allah is in charge of the universe and manages all creations, asking Him is direct. Requesting from others, like the Prophets or the Imams, is not permissible if the seeker considers them as being independent in dealing with his request, aside from Almighty Allah. This is like considering a partner with Almighty Allah. If the believer seeks the intercession of the Prophets and the Imams (peace be upon them) as they can then ask Almighty Allah to fulfill the seeker’s supplication, or he requests from Almighty Allah to fulfill his supplication by referring to the high rank of the noble personalities of the Prophets and the Imams (peace be upon them), then these two kinds of supplications are considered as permissible acts of worship.

My father has recently died. My grandfather and grandmother, my mother, 4 brothers and 3 sisters are the inheritors. How can we divide his Inheritance?

The inheritance is divided as follows: Each one of parent’s share is one-sixth. The wife’s share is one-eighth from all the inheritance except the worth of lands if any. The children take the rest of inheritance where each male’s share is twice as the share of the female.

Do all toes need to be wiped during in wudhu, or just the last toe?

It suffices in the correctness of the wudhu to perform what is considered as wiping, even if it is on one toe.

Is it permissible for a woman to wear a wig instead of wearing the hair cover if other parts of the body that must be covered are covered, because it will not be her hair?

It is permissible if it fulfills the religious obligation of covering the hair, However, wearing a wig makes the woman appear as though she is without hijab, and this could discourage the wearing of hijab, so it becomes prohibited from this aspect.
